Welcome to BHI 2026 and to Hong Kong, China!

The IEEE-EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI), sponsored by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE EMBS), is EMBS’s primary technical conference on informatics and computing in healthcare and life sciences. BHI 2026 will take place in Hong Kong, China, December 12-15, 2026. It will provide a unique forum to showcase innovative research that leverages Al, machine learning, and intelligent informatics frameworks to transform complex multimodal biomedical data into actionable, individualized insights for diagnosis, treatment, and health management. It will also demonstrate the deployment of intelligent informatics systems capable of harmonizing diverse data sources from medical imaging, wearable sensors, neural engineering, to electronic health records, identifying clinically relevant patterns, and supporting reliable patient-specific decision making for personalized healthcare.
