Oral Presenter Guidelines

Your paper is ranked among the top 14% from all conference regular paper submissions to be selected as an oral presentation.

This year, because of the high quality of papers being selected for oral presentation, the BHI2017 OC has made an extra effort to offer more opportunity for you to interact with your audience.

You have 10 minutes to present your work. Then after all session speakers present, you will all sit in the front table as a joint panel to interact with audience for Q&A and discussion for 25 minutes. This applies to both contributed and invited paper sessions.

As a speaker, you must have your presentation on a USB and bring it to their assigned session room 10 minutes prior to the sessions start time so it can be uploaded onto the session room computer.

Important Format Requirement:

Please make sure your PowerPoint presentation is in 16:9 format. You can double click the “Design” tab in PowerPoint, then click on “Slide Size”. You should choose “Widescreen (16:9)” from the drown down menu.

Session room PC’s will be provided with the following configuration:

  • Processor: a minimum Core i7
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 1024 x 768 at 24 bit color depth
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
  • Microsoft Office 2010 Professional
